We encourage, support and allow our senior students to take increasing responsibility for their learning program in the Senior School. The breadth of Senior School studies allows students to follow their interests and passions and prepare for their future careers. Pastoral support, academic and careers advice from trained professionals underpin student choice.

Students can access a range of Vocational Education and Training courses, also known as VET studies. VET Studies enable students to combine general VCE studies with vocational training and experience in the workplace. VET is recognised and approved by the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA). VET allows some students to follow a future vocational pathway and others to undertake a course to diversify and enrich their VCE program. After successful completion of a two year program, students receive their VCE as well as an industry approved VET certificate in their chosen studies.

From Prep to VCE, the formal leadership program enables students to take responsibility for a leadership portfolio, student leaders work with the guidance of a mentor. The formal leadership program provides students with the opportunity to learn to work collaboratively, like a board or cabinet, to achieve their goals and to make a difference.
